Beautiful property. Ocean views. Quaint and quiet. Enjoyed waking up and walking across the street to the Oceanside path that goes for miles and miles. Easy walk to cannery row. Great restaurant at lovers point. Walked everywhere. It was a 10 out of 10. No phones or tv in the rooms which was fine with us. Sat with windows open listening to the ocean and having a glass of wine and snacks and listened to music. They also have complimentary wine from 4 to 6 every evening in the main house sitting rooms overlooking the bay. Also complimentary breakfast. Although we didn’t make it to that. Also the bed was so comfortable. Will be the place we stay when we go back.

We were very excited about this getaway, and this establishment certainly lived up to our expectations. We stayed in the Julia room, which offered an absolutely stunning view of the ocean through its large windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, with one minor exception: there were no refreshments provided during wine time. In our experience at other bed and breakfasts in Pacific Grove, cheese and other refreshments are typically offered with wine. Additionally, the room we occupied did not have a refrigerator, although a small cooler was kindly provided to accommodate our needs. The architectural details of this building are truly outstanding. We absolutely loved our stay at Seven Gables and anticipate returning in the near future.

This was my second time staying at Seven Gables and it did not disappoint. We stayed in the Ocean Mist room - it was palatial, we had a gorgeous view of the ocean, and the bed was soo comfy. I love all the finishing touches of this spot, from the welcome glass of champagne, the nightly wine and cookie hours, and the delicious buffet breakfast each morning - all included. This hotel is on the coastal walking path that goes right into Monterey or up to the lighthouse (great spot to watch the sunset) and its a quick walk into pacific grove, close to great restaurants and some cute shops. Staying here is always a treat.

The room is beautiful! Awesome views from the rocky shore room of lovers point and the bay. Very clean! Bed was not as soft as I like it. The chairs overlooking the bay were soft and comfy. Breakfast was just ok.The staff is friendly and nice!
