The hotel was older, which lead to an unclean feeling in a few major areas; carpet, couch was full of trash under cushions, space behind tables were dirty with trash, bad odor in room. We made it work for the one night, because the area that made the biggest impact for our family were the beds. They were clean. We were able to open the windows and air out the room for a while before sleeping. This helped the odor. The hot tub was cold and had a horrible odor to it. The pool was cold, but my kids did play in it for a short while with no complaint in the warm weather.

I didn’t like that I was assigned a room and when I get there it was not ready, housekeeping was cleaning. They had to assigned me another one. I like the lay out of the room, the cleanness and that has refrigerator and microwave.

The room itself was good with comfy bed, frig and microwave, but had a very tiny bathroom counter, noisy at 4am(sounded like a jackhammer), room next to a utility area. The breakfast choices were typical and not appealing to me. Made reservation for 3 nights then the last night they left signs in my room and on the door that I was supposed to have left. They blamed the mixup on Expedia. Never happened to me before. I was evacuated from my home due to the wildfire and already stressed out. Had to pay a high rate too which was disappointing.

Not a Best Western Experience

The problems started with check-in. Charging $20 if you arrive before the 4:00 check in time is just crazy. No one was there to check-in in, we'd driven 7 hours and were tired, this just seems wrong. You have the worst pillows that we've slept on in I don't know how long. The hotel is old and could really use a face lift. Not what we expect from Best Western.

I checked in, went in my room for about and hour, I left the hotel and when I came back there was someone else sleeping in my room! My keys didn't work. The person at the front desk said there was nothing they could do! I've never had to go through this at any hotel!

Bed comfortable, clean. A/C worked nicely without loud cycling noises. Internet service was non-existent in room and hot tub was not hot. My pet peeve with most hotels is they need to do a better job on telling folks to respect others and not be excessively noisy in general and especially at quiet times (i.e. after 10 pm). Too many times people are out in halls, leaving doors open, going int/out of door like "what are you doing"

Stay away!

We checked in and they gave us a room that was being used by someone else. The next room they gave us sounded like the AC was ready to blow up. You couldn’t have a conversation and hear the other person. They switched us back to the room that was already occupied and said “the housekeeper just sat on the bed, that’s why it was messy. In the meantime, we asked to be switched to a different room that wasn’t dirty and they told us we’d have to pay for another room. We finally get settled, fall asleep, and at 1:09 AM, someone is trying to get into our room. Come to find out, it was the front desk worker trying to get into the room for whoever had it before us. Did not feel safe. Did not feel clean. Terrible experience. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

A great simple and clean overnight for our family

This was also a simple hotel, the staff was very nice and accommodating in every way. We booked a room with three beds and a couch and it was perfect for our family of five. It’s not a fancy hotel or anything, but it was clean, the breakfast was decent and we felt like the staff cared. The pool and hot tub are pretty basic, but our kids loved going in. It’s a great spot if you’re going into the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and it’s also relatively close to a bunch of businesses if you need to stock up. A great stop over on our Colorado road trip.

This property could use a deep clean. The floors in the room were mostly clean but you could see dust and dirt in the corners and on the ceiling. The curtains were dirty and need to be washed. The bedding was clean but there were some stains. There was a dark colored washcloth for makeup which would have been nice but it was dusty and had hair on it. There is no counter to put your toiletries on. We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 kids and we were given 2 towels. They did promptly bring more towels when we requested them though. There is also no elevator which is not an issue for us but could be for some.
