The room was larger than I expected. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was also large enough for 2 people. Having the desk area and sofa made the mornings peaceful. Very nice breakfast bar. They had it all. Coffee all day. I did not like the coffee maker in the room. It was not working.

Had to go back to the desk a couple of different times because the key card did not work. Then the remote was dead and needed new batteries. The shower curtain was a thin polyester and water just poured through it and soaked the floor. Over priced for what it is.

In room 217, please check the bed closest to the shower. It has a big lump in the middle and slopes down on the sides. Like sleeping on a traffic bump.

We did arrive a little early to check-in (which most hotels now accommodate you if they can). Two ladies were outside smoking, and when asked if we could check in early we were told very rudely that it would not be available until 4:00. I questioned that NO rooms would be available, she said yes they all get released at the same time. Seriously? Then we asked if we could use the pool, and she said she would have to check us in and if she did that we would be charged an extra $25. Not welcoming and certainly not accommodating. Lobby smelled as well. Was not an inexpensive hotel and definitely did not meet our expectations. I rarely give bad reviews, but felt compelled on this one.

Good option!

The location is very good, it's very close to the Emerald Isle Beach. The room was good and clean, and the staff was very kind. The only thing that I think the hotel would need to improve is the breakfast. The eggs were not very good and the sausage was very greasy!

Room had a weird smell, I’m guessing from the water damage in the ceiling. We were out all day came back to the room around 11 pm and saw 2 big roaches in our room.

Just what we needed for a last minute trip. Quick and easy to get to the island with lots of food options near by. Breakfast is okay but the coffee is surprisingly great. Nothing to complain about and the pool was a nice surprise.
