A lot of amenities are unavailable. Staff can be very rude. A patron accidentally dropped his cell phone down the elevator shaft and when he presented this to the lady at the front desk, her response was “what do you want me to do about it“. I have stayed here several times and this was the first service by far.

I had made a mistake booking my room so I called Expedia to add a guest and change rooms to a double room. Expedia was told by staff there were no other rooms available even though it showed in the website. They finally changed our room when we arrived but we were on the pet friendly floor. When arriving in our room the fridge was not working and the balcony had water covering the ground from the AC leaking water and the balcony above was dripping onto our balcony. We asked for a new room after showing pictures and explaining it was hazardous as someone could fall and we needed a fridge as we were there for almost a week for work which we were given a new room in the same pet friendly floor. This room was okay but the floor was dirty and we found someone’s medication in the floor plus the door to the fridge was broke which we took pictures and showed the front desk so we were not charged for it. After trying to sleep I was kept awake by the broom next doors dogs and then walking in and out to take them outside. I asked for another room the next morning and was switched to the floor above. Again the room was fine but the fan in the bathroom was not working and I had to go down to the front desk due to the people next door screaming and yelling in the middle of the night. I called the front desk and they called the police.I switched rooms the last night which finally was perfect! I wish I had that room the whole stay I was there. I was only compensated $40 from the GM.

All the rooms in the hotel face the ocean which is beautiful. The hotel needs more staff, but the staff they had were excelent. As it is early in the season i dont see this being a long term issue. Booking through expedia they exclude the daily parking fee which I find irritating as i never would have found the hotel without using their site, but it won't stop me from staying there again.

At check in the desk clerk was absolutely clueless.I had added a night and they didn’t put the additional night onto the existing booking. Instead, they booked it through the hotel at a slightly higher rate. She told me I would only be charged for that one night, as the “virtual card” was being used for the nights booked through the hotels.com. Then, when I went to the room assigned I found it destroyed. Pillows were stacked on the entertainment center, there were no sheets on the bed. the sink, toilet, shower, and room in general were filthy. I went back down to the front desk and the girl once again just stared blankly, not knowing what to do. What seemed like the head of housekeeping then began laughing and told her that she put me in a room that was “out of order”. There was no offer of recompense or small peace offering to make it right. Instead, just a check of the cleaning sheet and the cleaning manager saying “you can put him in 510 if he doesn’t mind the smell of bleach, cause I just cleaned it.” So, she swiped the cards and sent me to the room that nearly made my eyes water from bleach. The air conditioner was like a jet landing the whole time. Then, the day before I left I found out that I had been charged for all of the nights on my card. Once again, same clueless desk clerk chugging a Mt Dew and pretending she was doing something until a manager had to bail her out after thirty minutes. Again, no offer to do anything to make up for another error.

Changing Mind on Return Visit

Room was not ready so we waited outside. The desk was so busy that it took them 30 minutes to get back to us that our room was ready. No worries, we enjoyed the outdoors area. Door to room was hard to open, all the paint caused the door to stick. A used bottle of lotion was on the counter and a large ball of hair was behind the bathroom door. Overall it was a nice quick trip. Tiki bar did run out of liquor and restaurant is not included in cost for guest. $16 pp for breakfast. Parking is also not included. $21.50 per day that they process at checkout. 300 some per night?! For what? We won't be back or recommend.
