It took almost an hour to get ahold of the manager to tell them about bed bugs in room 210. At first he said there wasn't another room available nor wouldn't refund us since we used the bathroom. I got in the phone with my mom and told her everything. I yelled bed bugs and health department and that's when the manager of the hotel came out. Then all of a sudden there was a room available. We paid $110 for a bug invested bed. He had us check out the other room and there was no bed bugs or anything. He upgraded the room to a kitchenette which we didn't end up using. Not to mention I'm 9 months pregnant about to have a baby.

The rooms were as expected for the price. The listing was inaccurate, however, because it had a continental breakfast wirrten as an ammenity, but they did not actually offer this. The person checking us in did not tell us about this, and in the morning there was a small blank piece of paper covering the continetal breakfast sign with no information on it. There was no one at the front desk at 8 a.m. (breakfast was supposed to open at 7:30) to give us any information. When the from desk staff did arrive, they told us the coffee machine was broken, and this was the reason for no breakfast. The listing should be updated to reflect that they do not actually have a continental breakfast.

Bargain price, reasonable facility

We have stayed here several times over the years. We return because the price is good for Anacortes, rooms are huge and it's a convenient spot. The facility probably hasn't changed in years and is worn. The furniture doesn't match. So if you're looking shiny and fluffy, go elsewhere. If you want a good deal, clean rooms and reasonable comfort, this is your place.

The rooms are extremely dated! Carpet looked like a crime seen! Bed was about 6 inches thick with no cushen left! There was 3 light bulbs out, i get one, but 3 come on. There was a broken recliner that was stuck reclined.

Eerie to say the least

I have stayed at the Anaco Bay Inn for YEARS dating back to the early 90s. I was so sad to see the state of this little quaint Inn as it has so much potential. Ice maker broken, and we had to plug coffee maker in on the floor next to our bed. No one was at the desk past 4pm and it felt more like a motel. Praying this place gets the upgrade it certainly needs and deserves.

The staff was unwelcoming. A constant window between them and us the whole time. There was only old stale bread and one old defrosted waffle for the ‘breakfast’. Very overpriced for what you got!

This hotel was good enough! We stayed at 208 and room was huge with high ceilings. But if you stay there because of the continental breakfast it’s a huge mistake! I travel a lot and this is the worst breakfast I ever seen! 2 apples and few yogurts and couple of bagels. That’s what you will get!!!

No frills, low cost... Pros: easy parking, quiet location, spacious room. Cons: stained towels and sheets, non-functioning lights and fireplace, carpet coming up in places, dirty stovetop, hair in bathroom sink, faucet in kitchen dripped all night, no info provided for any Wifi or how to operate the very small TV...! I didn't expect much, given the low cost, but it was a bit disappointing.

Quite disappointed.

We stayed in room 205 when we walked in, the carpet smelled a bit like dirty feet. I looked up, and the ceiling fan was absolutely coded in gray clumpy dust. Also, it had a kitchenette, and the hot water handle on the kitchen faucet spun around without turning on any hot water. I was also unable to locate the breakfast the next morning, and there was no one at the reception desk to ask. We left without eating.

It was probably great after it's last remodel but it hasn't been kept up since. I had to book a last minute trip, unfamiliar with the area. This hotel had a high star rating but I think they are based on very old reviews.It was raniking 8.9 I think when I booked, I would give it a 5 max.

We were only there overnight, but we enjoyed our stay. I love the fact that the room was bigger. As we were leaving, there were several doors open into rooms and some of them I would love to come back and stay in. In our particular room, There was no place to sit except at the table. There was plenty of room so we would’ve loved to have had a couple of comfortable chairs.
