Definitely not going back. This motel does not need to be on any list. Very dirty, to the point that I found a hypodermic needle needle and lid behind the nightstand when plugging my phone in! No WAY I'd ever stay here again? Not to mention a couple we met at the pool only paid 60 for an identical room I had to pay $130mattwown.

There are eight different restaurants within walking distance of the Quality Inn in Mount Vernon, along with an Enterprise car rental location, Lowe's and Walmart. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen, and the drapes did not do a very good job of blocking the view of anyone walking by outside.

When I made my reservation with Expedia, I reserved a room with 2 queen beds. When I checked in I was told that there was an overbooking and that all they had available for me was a King bed with a hide-a-bed. The hide-a-bed did not have sheets or a blanket/pillow. I had to go down to get them to put on myself. After opening the hide-a-bed up, I found that it had an old coiled mattress. We shut the hide-a-bed and slept 3 people in the king size bed. Did not make for a great 2 night stay. It was close to areas we need to be nearby.

The door lock did not feel secure and felt like anyone could push it open which felt unsafe traveling alone. I also had a large amount of liquid on the floor near my chair by the window. I am not sure if something was spilled but it was not clean upon my arrival.

Check in staff great. Morning one not very helpful. Only power accessable in main room was surge protector hanging in the air on the side of the dresser. Not very conveinent if you have a lot of devices to charge.Room was clean and quiet.

While the room was cleaned well the housekeeping can only do so much. The guy working front desk was very nice so no complaints towards the staff.Big red stain on the carpet and similar stain on the popcorn ceiling. The room had a weird odor and the bathroom fan sounds like a banshee. Definitely over do for a renovation. The tv is literally from 2012.
