The two Roku TVs in our room. Did not have Internet connection. We were not notified until check out, via a small sign on the office door.

The carpet, duvet cover and pillow shams were all stained. The bathroom sink was not clean, it looked like someone had rinsed a coffee pot out in it. The shower/tub and toilet were clean. The controls on the HVAC unit didn’t seem to work.

The location is convenient, very close to the highway, which made it easy to drive to North Cascades National Park. There are also a few restaurants nearby, which was handy. The staff was absolutely fantastic, both at check-in and check-out, very friendly and helpful. That said, the property really needs some basic upgrades and attention to cleanliness. The place didn’t feel clean. I noticed hairs in the shower area, yellow permanent stains on the toilet seat, and the bathroom mat looked like it hadn’t been washed. The pillows looked and smelled old (and were even mismatched). For something so simple, it would make a big difference if the management replaced them — even $5 pillows from Walmart would be better. The bed was very soft and uncomfortable, and I barely slept all night. The carpet, chairs, and furniture look extremely old and worn, and the overall atmosphere gives the impression that the owners haven’t invested anything in maintaining the property. I understand this is a low-budget option, but there are basic standards of cleanliness and comfort that don’t require a big financial investment. There’s no Wi-Fi at all — the lady at check-in did inform me before I paid, which I appreciated, but just be aware that there is no Wi-Fi available. The AC/heating unit is also very loud (though that didn’t bother me personally). I wouldn’t stay here again. With just a few simple improvements: new pillows, a clean bathroom, and a bit of care, this place could be much better!

The beds and bedding are clean and comfortable! The room was clean and decent. It was the tub that had mold in it that made our stay not nice! The front desk did let the cleaning staff know at once, so that was good.

Motel is on main road which creates lots of noise, motel seen better days, outside looks fairly good but inside is very dated and dark, furniture is banged up, bed was on softer side and clean, except TV everything should be replaced. Bathroom sink and bathtub was sticky and visually dirty. I did not use courtyard pool, didn’t see anybody else using it but it was late afternoon. Good restaurant next to motel.

No internet -- major problem of rme. The up button to increase the temperature on the AC/heating unit didn't exist. Old TV cabinet still in the room has a hole in the back and looks totally weird. There are screws in the wall above each of the bedside lamps left over from some other light fixture, I would assume. The tall lamp on top of the old TV cabinet is ridiculous at best. The entrance ceiling light didn't work and there was no other ceiling light. The nightstand lights gave off very little light. If the curtains are open, the people in the room around the corner can look straight at you if they're on their balcony (which happened to me).

No WIFI at this property

the WIFI did not work at the entire property. they told me it had been turned off by the provider. I would NEVER have stayed at this place if I were told in advance they had no internet. WIFI is like oxygen - you can't take my money and then not give it to me.

The good: the bed was comfortable and the front desk ladies were nice. The bad: There was no bolt on back door on the first room I had (just a door handle lock). So I had them swap me into a different room. Same thing--no bolt, just a door handle lock (chincy push the button in type). Maybe fine for the area (the front desk gal said it was safe, but I could put a door under the handle if it made me feel better), but I expect hotel rooms to have good locks. Neither room had a safety chains on any of the doors. The bathroom smelled like pee and the towels/bath mat were questionably clean. Overpriced for sketchy place.
