The hotel smelled funny and like smoke despite being smoke free. Air humid throughout. AC struggled and its still cool out for SC. Adjoining door was NOT locked. Huge safety oversight by staff. Severely understaffed. Trash and laundry in halls waiting to be picked up. Maid service only avaliable every 3 days. I have never been uncomfortable in a hotel before and I've staying in some questionable places over the years but this one made me uneasy. I checked out by 720am because I couldnt wait to leave.

It was quiet. We slept well. The room was clean. There was a very strong cigarette smell just outside our door in the hallway. I did notify the front counter staff about this concern.

Man, I guess by Quality Inn they mean the quality is in somewhere else. The staff is very unfriendly. We had food left in our mini fridge, but hey life happens. My biggest grief was when a staff member scoffed at my wife saying, "So, it begins." When she came down for the breakfast. Btw, terrible breakfast food, and that is even by hotel breakfast standards. The only reason we didn't give it a 1 star is because the guy who checked in was awesome. Maybe if he was left in charge of hospitality, this place could get a much needed face lift. Vacationers beware, quality inn is where you want put your in laws but not people you love. I'd add the pics of the busted up sprinklers but the app isnt letting me.
