This is not the worst place I’ve ever stayed. And it wouldn’t have been that bad if I’d only been there two nights. It wasn’t even necessarily dirty, but, there was no closet. There was no place to hang anything up. The bathroom had a great big mirror and plenty of light, but the vanity was in the bedroom and the mirror around the vanity did not have good life made it very difficult to do things like putting in contacts and I’ll make up. There’s no towel rack by the vanity so there’s no place to put a hand towel. The room was never cleaned the four nights we were there. You have to walk down to the office to get towels and they’re left out in a cabinet. You check in with the kiosk. I did locate an employee at 10:30 one night because the fire alarm in our room kept going off. He did come down and change the batteries. The area around the building is on site with a broken air conditioner sitting out. Houses are all over the sidewalk so you can wash your feet off, but there are safety hazard the way they’re laid out.
It is a convenient location with a small grocery store across the street and a great place to eat breakfast next-door. It’s easy to walk to the beach or go to the pier with a little bit more attention to service. It could actually be a good value.
