The reason you received a “Good” score on Facilities was because the chlorine in the spa was very irritating. When we conversed with another patron they also mentioned that they noticed the strong odor from the 2nd floor.

Had not been to Lied for 20 years. We were pleased that it had been kept up to todays standards. Love the inside lodge look and wish the outside looked more lodge like. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. My husband is handicapped and the staff was very accomodating to his needs.

Beautiful surroundings! A wonderful, natureful retreat. Emilie does a great job in the Lounge but unfortunately the new menu lacks suitable options for appetizers, and is extremely overpriced. Come for the incrediable ambience and retreat feel hotel. Go downtown to eat.

Weekend getaway

We picked a sunny mid April weekend for our visit. Hotel and restaurant are wonderful. Surrounding nature - as to be expected only showed very few sprouts of green. We plan to come back in the fall for harvest season.
