The hotel is run down was adequate ad a place to sleep during a conference... AND the last night at 3:00 am I heard what turned out to be the firealarm, then I heard what sounded like rocks or someone walking in the restroom. I sleepily went to check and saw fire in the ceiiing, smoke and pieces of the burned ceiling falling onto the floor. I went downstairs to reception. The man at the desk asked a few questions, then went to check. He came back (not sure if he did anything to put out the fire but told me to go to another room 2 doors down for an hour. At the same time the guests next door had called 911 and fireengines arrived...the woman said her room was full of smoke and their were (many) children involved. The lights in my room were all out and the smoke made it difficult to breathe. A policeman came took my info for follow-up and asked me to talk to the firemen. I did. At 7:00 am I woke up -- had to go to my original room to get my belongings. It was locked. I went to the reception and the same man went with me to open the door. We both realized there was still smoke in the room. I gathered my belongings and left go to to the airport. A few thoughts: What would have happened if I had put water on the fire? I am grateful that it did not spread beyond the bathroom. It is a reminder of how fragile life is and I am writing this so that this hotel and others are aware of dangerous situations they are putting their guests in.

The property is severely run down. Cement in stairs to get to second floor is crumbling and dangerous. The door locks looked as though anyone could break in with ease. The beds were made with white sheets fashioned to cover a decrepit blanket. pillows were a joke. I almost chose to sleep in my car, but did not feel safe in the parking lot due to loiterers.

STAY AWAY FROM SUPER 8 MILFORD, CONNECTICUT!

We were very disappointed, the room wasn't very clean, three was a pizza box left with a skanky slice of pizza left in it; asked for another towel, and never received one; the was no comforter on the bed; there was a cigarette burn hole in the blanket; the pull out sofa bed was sunken, with springs missing and replaced with tie wraps that were broken. We were very upset with this motel, and can't understand why Hotels.com would ever suggest this dump

Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone unless less there is no other option. Bathroom was poor. The front door not properly sealed. The sheet on the bed had hole. Place needs attention. Only if there is no other alternative. The location is good on the main road but that's all.

It was terrible! The tv didn’t work, the toilet looked like it came from a damn prison cell, someone must’ve stole furniture from it, there were ONLY TWO pillows on the bed, the light on the right side of the bed didn’t work, and we were woken up early by police/ambulances and fire truck sirens! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT STAYING THERE!!!!!!
