Rooms were nice and cool (air conditioning worked great). Close to everywhere you want to be. You don’t need a rental car unless you want emergency transportation. I rented one because my brain just works that way. Only used it on the first and last day…. And once to go to a Pelicans game.

I loved the location, as it is in the French Quarters. However, my room was very small and didn’t have windows. Also, I could hear the guest in the next room through the adjoining door; it’s like we were in the same room.

We love this property! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The location is great walking distance to everything in the French quarter! The only upgrade I would suggest is having a mini fridge in the rooms. You only get a mini fridge if you get a suite which costs a lot more and I feel like should be a basic room feature !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Chateau Hotel, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff that immediately made me feel at home. The lobby itself is a masterpiece, offering a blend of elegance and comfort that set the tone for the rest of my stay. The room I stayed in was absolutely stunning. Spacious, tastefully decorated, and with a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch, including high-speed internet. It truly felt like a home away from home, with every detail meticulously thought out. One of the best features of the Chateau Hotel is its location. It's centrally located, making it convenient to explore nearby attractions, but the hotel itself is peaceful and quiet, providing a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff were all very friendly. Overall, our room was fine. Unfortunately, our room was on ground level and along the sidewalk. Every once and again rowdy foot traffic would wake us. It’s an old building, so yes, the walls are very thin, we could hear whoever was in the room next door snoring! Lol. Luckily we didn’t have any issues with the plumbing. It was fine for the experience of staying in the French Quarter.

Hotel Château is a small and charming gem that perfectly captures the essence of the French Quarter. Miss Elaine is, without a doubt, the best host ever. The rooms are clean and cozy, with a newly renovated bathroom that was surprisingly spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the guest services team went above and beyond to accommodate us. When we visited in February, the hotel was experiencing an issue with the heaters due to the cold weather. Instead of waiting for guests to complain, they were proactive—informing us of the issue and immediately offering either a discount or a transfer to a different property. Their professionalism and hospitality were truly impressive. While I’ve stayed in newer, more modern hotels, this one had an undeniable charm that embodied the spirit of the French Quarter. Its location is unbeatable—central to everything. A 10/10 experience. I would absolutely stay here again. Miss Elaine, you’re the best!
