Great Mardi Gras Spot

Stayed here to catch some Mardi Gras parades. Great choice for Mardi Gras. At the end of the routes so my kids made out like bandits as far as throws go.

The room was so humid that our bedding was damp, and it did not cool down the whole night. When maintenance came and looked, water was dripping out of the ceiling. We switched rooms and in the second room, the tub was chipped and cracked, and there was water damage on the ceiling in the room. The staff was very accommodating but ultimately we had to move hotels. We did receive a full refund for our stay which was appreciated.

It was so hot in this hotel I couldn’t sleep. In addition they didn’t clean the room everyday like they were suppose too. It would have been okay if I could sleep at night but it was so hot that is what the hotel unbearable.

Got there let and found out you have to pay $45 for parking, despite the ads said parking in site. The room did not have remote so at 11pm we had ro pack up and move from the 5th floor to the 3rd floor. Microwave was didn't and ants in room coffee area.

We were welcomed by 2 super friendly ladies at the front desk. It was very quick and easy to check in and check out. No wait at all!!! The rooms are super small but that’s not a problem because we were not in the room much. One warning is, they are in the middle of ordering blinds for the window in the bathroom. It is on back order. So NO cover at all. Let’s hope when you come out of the shower naked, nobody on the other window is looking down or into your window and sees your naked body before you get dressed.

They charged us 2 times for our stay. Its a holiday weekend so we cant do anything about it till Tuesday. Luckily i can borrow from my checks or we wouldn't have had gas money to get back to Ohio, a 12.5 hour drive away from New Orleans.

Not maintained properly. The ceiling of my room has evidenced of water leakage and same on the floor. The flooring is uneven and peeling off from a water damage. There’s only one small window and when I open the curtains the only thing I see is a wall from the next building. The carpet also has stain and I noticed that they don’t vacuum daily. There was a small paper towel that I intentionally didn’t pick it up and when I returned that night to my hotel, it’s still there.
