I stay here a few times a year, but this time, I had a few glitches. There was no dresser to store my clothing, so I asked for a different room (1 week stay, so I like my clothing put away). I was told none of the rooms had dressers. I stay often enought to know that isn't the case. Then my heat didn't work and my shower had no hot water. Maintenence was terrific and repaired both quickly. Finally, if you like a good night sleep, be sure to ask for rooms that do not face Dauphine Street. The late night noise was insane. Still, the staff is great, and I will stay again.

The room was cool, no heater. The cleaners did an excellent job. The breakfast area was cold too. Food was very limited, no yogurt , or granola but they did have fruit. Michaela was lovely, and asset to the breakfast team .thank you for looking after us.

Reception staff were nice. Room was dark, not enough lighting. Water pressure wasn't strong enough for a good shower. Water was sometimes cool and wouldn't warm up. Room was cool also , so we asked for a heater and were told that the hotel didn't have one.

We loved everything room was nice and clean when we came back. All the employees were nice. The only thing I would say when they clean the bathroom, they never left extra toilet paper and in the middle of the night I will have to call concierge so I could get more toilet paper. I was in room 257 but other than that, everything was fine.

The room itself was fine, the staff were good. However- the elevator would open a door or so before it leveled out on the appropriate floor. Then suddenly drop to lock into place. Both elevators did this and we weee located in the 5the floor. So much we decided to start walking the stairs. Staff said it had been like this for months and seems unbothered.

Very reasonable hotel. The mandatory amenity bag for $125.00 however was an insult, consisting of a flimsy water bottle and discounts on breakfast at the hotel. Not sure why one would ruin a great experience with a practice so silly that it could raise FTC scrutiny. Just raise your prices $125 and don’t price discriminate or give away gag gifts. It’s one of those cases where (marginally) less would feel like more.

The room was extremely small. It’s nothing like the pictures. It’s not meant for 4 people at all. We pay extra to have a balcony, well it was a shared one with two other rooms. That wasn’t ideal and it was suppose to be close to Bourbon street, it was walking distance but not close enough to enjoy festivities from the balcony.

The pros: The hotel is prime location. Merely steps from Bourbon. The staff was friendly and our room was clean. The cons: The hotel was just old. The hallways and our room smelled old, as if it needed to be aired out. Whoever stayed next to us, threw up and left the towel and tied of trash in the hallway. It was there for hours- pretty much half the day. My niece found hair strands in the tub too. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff in the lobby were great and also the concierge. Everyone at the front were very helpful, now the bar and breakfast/ Diner are not so much. Waited forever for someone to acknowledge us and all we wanted was some coffee, then took forever just to ring us up. Other than that everything was great, rooms were perfect and clean.
