Such a cute property with free parking located in the beautiful Garden District of New Orleans! Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good selection of grab and go items. Rooms were clean and inviting. This is on the street car line, so can be a bit noisy, but that adds to the charm. It was a nice change of scenery from Bourbon Street/French Quarter...

Happy friendly clean hotel

Staff was extremely friendly going above and beyond to make sure your needs were met. Room was extremely clean as well as the hotel as a whole. Just steps away from the streetcar (public transportation) with easy access to the French Quarter. Only drawback was no exhaust fan for the bathroom and bathroom door wouldn’t close properly

Great location and great service. Bed was comfortable. However, we would not stay here again for three reasons. 1. The hotel has a grill restaurant attached, and the room smelled overpoweringly of meat grease/burned grill smell the whole time. This is the main reason I wouldn't return. 2. There were no coverings on the window, and many lights outside. I can't sleep in a non-darkened room. 3. We appreciate that it's pet friendly, but a couple problems with that—the bathroom isn't air conditioned, so we had no way to contain the dog when needed. The key card entry on the front door was broken so we couldn't take the dog out after hours without getting trapped outside.

Right in front of tram station on Charles ave, convenient to go to French Quarters or towards Audubon park. Next to Garden district with beautiful historical mansions, and walkable to Magazine street. Breakfast was simple and nice. Outisde window had vent machines and no view and bit noisy, but room was clean with comfortable beds.
