I loved staying here. The staff was top notch, genuinely made it feel like you were staying somewhere that they take pride in, made us feel comfortable instantly and continued that for the entire stay. It is a couple blocks from the subway but I never felt unsafe walking there. If you need ice, ask the front desk and they will bring you a bucket of ice, they have bottled water at the front desk at all times. It was never an issue if I needed extras of anything in the room and the housekeeping staff had our room smelling amazing every day. Beds were super comfortable, room was bigger than I anticipated, walls were a little scuffed up but didn’t feel dirty or gross. Fridge and microwave in the room, window view of the street from our room. Could hear street traffic but not enough to disturb us. Hotel overall very quiet, easy to get an elevator and rarely saw other people in the hallway. Would 100% stay here again.

Property was amazing! Loved it! Our room was big enough for 4 adults and the restroom was beautiful! The shower head had amazing water pressure and the bathtub was a delight to use! Would definitely recommend this property!

We initially had an issue with the AC in our room, but they relocated us to a new room and upgraded us. The staff was wonderful and both rooms we were in were decently big. The sexond room was even bigger than the first. The hotel and rooms themselves could use a bit of a renovation and the tv stations were just basic instead of digital cable, but overall it was a quiet place to stay in a good location for a good price. I would definitely stay here again.

What's to tell you? My weekend in New York City was ruined by my experience at The Truss Hotel. This property is not what was advertised on your site. I registered my discontent immediately upon check in, and nothing was done to address my concerns.

After reading several reviews I booked this hotel for a 3 night stay. Upon check in the woman at the front desk easily got very overwhelmed by all the people checking out and wanting their bags held. She wasn’t rude per se; but not welcoming at all either. Later when we came back to check in and go to our room, we were greeted at the elevator by an unexpected guest. A cockroach crawling on the wall.

Was close to Times Square and places to eat, and was a reasonable price. Lights difficult to work - headboard light randomly switched on and off, once at 4 am. Staff forgot to provide enough towels on first 2 days but this was quickly rectified. Could not roll up one of the window blinds despite trying extensively. Good amount of storage space in wardrobe and bathroom.
