The good - This was overall a nice stay for a few days while I was in town for a craft market. I booked last minute due to issues at an Airbnb, they were able to accommodate me. Free parking on site was a fantastic bonus. So much was within walking distance, so I was able to leave my car and not worry about driving in the city The room overall was nice despite some issues. Overall I felt comfortable and did enjoy my stay. The room felt large compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at in brooklyn. The less good - Upon arrival, my room smelled strongly of cigarettes that had been covered up with a scented spray. Also, my fridge was broken. I alerted the front desk and the gentleman was very concerned, he tried to help but no rooms were available to switch me to that night. They offered to spray my room for the scent, but I thought that might just make it worse. It would have been better if there was a way to open the window My room didn’t have a balcony - I thought from the Expedia listing that there was some shared balcony at the top of the building so that was a little misleading - definitely a no fills type of stay without breakfast or anything like that. There was a coffee maker in the room. Overall - It was a pleasant stay. Mostly clean other than the scent, and the staff was very friendly. Truthfully I would consider staying here again despite the issues. The location felt safe, walkable, and kind of quiet for brooklyn.

Parking was key. There was parking right in front of the building. The location was also good. There were lots of restaurants and the Barclay Center within walking distance. The room itself was nothing great. There was a half curtain separating the bedroom and bathroom. So, there was zero privacy. This was very awkward and uncomfortable.

Needs Updating, Especially Beds

This place works. It will give you a place to put your head as you explore the city, but this place won’t pamper you about it. Cleanliness was great, despite what it looks like on the outside. It’s a recessed building because of the parking lot, but that’s what makes it feel a little dated. There is barely a lobby so you wouldn’t be able to wait there for any length of time. Not much around the area either. The bed was sunken in the middle and felt like I was sleeping on a wooden board. Not even any residual of a cotton plush mattress pad, just straight to the springs. Luckily I came alone so I made a little pillow nest to make it comfier. The bed is actually the main concern. Everything else was fine and will do but if you plan on using it more than a place to just crash after a full day, it might not be as comfortable.
