It was a good stay. Not great and not less than expected for being in Time Square. It was noisy (expected for the most part). Access to the hotel is through an elevator to a reception floor which made getting in and out a little clunky. Breakfast was good. It was included in our stay. The property has seen some wear. Dinged up furniture, carpets could use a wash, base boards peeling. But the beds were comfortable and the interior noise was minimal for a reasonably full property.

The hotel is very loud and used, overused, plus the rooms are tired, bathrooms are used and problems with cold water pressure. Told reception at least twice about it and nothing was done. Elevators to get first to the lobby and then to the rooms are not really functioning for the number of guests. Great location and walkable to main attractions but the rest is disappointing.

Hotel is on Times Square, so yes, there were shops near buy. The roving bands of shop lifters was disco, but they left people alone. I’m not sure with all the dope being smoked that I’d consider New York City family friendly.
