Facilities can use a little improvement for the most part very clean looking and smelling. Staff was very attentive and understanding. Please don’t smoke in the room. They will give you a big fat fine

Amazing budget hotel

It was amazing. Excellent hospitality. Fast check-in and check-out, simple breakfast enough for powering up morning energy. Recommend for a budget hotel choice.

Property opposite a fire station and I was woken up by siren 7 out of 8 nights. Other than this I think it’s good regarding the comparatively cheap price. It offers decent size room, quite new bathroom and king size bed.

It was convenient with a bus stop right out the front door. There were multiple broken things in the room including the door latch and light switches. It seemed pretty safe and staff were very nice. The walls were not clean. The overall stay was good and great value for the price.

Good budget option in woodside

A good cheaper option if it's too expensive to stay in the heart of Manhattan. About 5-10 minute walk from woodside station. A basic hotel but comfortable. Convenience stores nearby

I have a very low expectation with hotels, especially when I’m only there for a night or two. But, this hotel was interesting. At first, it’s really pretty in the lobby. The check-in was smooth. The room is where it gets interesting. First off every stay I have ever stayed at, there is always a mini fridge. The room lacked that. The ‘king size bed’ is actually two twins put together. The bathroom ceiling was peeling from water damage. There is no visible outlet, you have to move the nightstands to reach one. Check out took forever, the dude at the desk ignored my presence for a good 20 minutes (it was 11:10 AM, check out time at 12 PM) with other people in line too. It did its’ purpose for the time I was staying, but I would look for another place for sure.

This property’s only elevator worked once during the five-night stay: the day/night after I checked in. There was a sign on the elevator which turned out to be an ominous sign of the experience ahead: Please don’t hold elevator door open. Elevator will cease to function. My guess is someone either didn’t see the sign or ignored it like they do every other sign meant for them. Boy, did it ever cease to function! Of course, this happened on Friday night/Saturday morning, as in nobody coming to service the elevator until Monday. Up/down five flights of stairs. I guess I was lucky that I wasn’t on the sixth floor! Elevator hadn’t worked since. My luck, it’s probably working now that I’m gone. Also, my room had one spot by the desk where something had been spilled but not cleaned properly. The sticky residue was still there. There was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, from previous guests. Luckily I had some portable air scent spray. Regarding the bathroom, the door opening/closing was hampered by the toilet. Either the door or the toilet was too big for the space. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and clean. Back to the negative side, my window faced a VERY active (as in NOISY) Queens Boulevard…sometimes at 3 in the morning. NYC, amirite? In my opinion, the only way this place makes money, other than cheapskate bargain hunters like me, is from maybe US Open goers. My advice: avoid this place. The saying goes: you get what you pay for!

I got there early to check my bags and it seemed like a sketchy process. They didn’t tag them and barely looked at my ID. I just took a picture and that’s how I got my bags back when I got there that night. When I got there, they told me they didn’t have a room for me which is crazy. Then they told me they had one on the 7th floor and here’s the kicker- the elevator doesn’t work and apparently hasn’t for a long time (I found out after talking to another guest). I told them that was unacceptable as I had two pieces of luggage and I could not carry them all that way so they made me wait 20 minutes in the lobby until they could clean a room on the second floor (which btw is the third floor because they use the real second floor as an employee area). The room was in poor condition. The worst part was that on the way out to check out I had trouble on the very old, uneven steps and my wheel got caught on one of the stairs and it took a tumble and broke the handle of my suitcase. I was told to email the owner for a resolution. I will be following up with a google review as well as X, instagram and facebook. Do not book here. There’s a holiday inn express across the street that has a shuttle to the airport. Spend the extra $30-50. You’ll save it in uber.

Night for a queen

Blow dryer in room didn’t work, floor wasn’t that clean. Parking isn’t the best and hard time find if you’ve never been there. Bed was super comfortable and so were the pillows.
