World Trade Hotel

The check in was great the hostess was polite and friendly. However upon entering my room I found out the t.v. was broken and had to be replaced which took 10 minutes. Then during the night when i was trying to charge my phone i relized the outlet by the bed was not working. I would expect the staff would check these things before issuing the room.

Location of hotel is perfect. Very close to the subway. Can hop on the 5 train and it’s a straight shot to all the sites like TSq, The Met and Brooklyn bridge. The room was decent. Bed was clean. The room did smell weird but did not mention it to staff right away because they were busy. I also didn’t complain because the room was pretty affordable for the location. I did mention the room had sort of a stench to staff before checking out to let them know. Other than that, great spot.

They didn't have a restaurant open while I was there. Had to get food to microwave breakfast. There were a few restaurants within walking distance.

Love the location of the Hotel. Didn't like the extended wait to check in. Check in was supposed to be at 3. Did not get room until after 5. Staff stated room was not ready. And parking is 2 blocks away. think since we sat in lobby they could have either not charged the additional $25 property fee (on top of hotel cost)or extended our checkout time by 2 hours. And should have gave us complimentary snacks. Something.
