2 burned out lights in our rooms that I complained about the minute we walked in and noone came to fix. The whole side of the room when you come in the door and above the sink was dark. Room was outdated but clean enough.

The hot tub warm. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet which I appreciated. Breakfast was pretty basic but the food area was clean and it was filling enough to start the day.

We were at first given a room that was very dirty and possibly already occupied by another guest/group. Then the next room, the keys didnt work. They were nice enough to bring new keys to us due to the inconveniences. Then it was noticed that multiple spots on the walls had wallpaper coming down, the shower head was dirty/looked broken/low pressure, and the fan in the bathroom was very load and sounded as though it may be going. Overall it was not the best experience. Two of the staff members were nice and helpful. The first staff member that gave us the first room we did not see again after she provided us that dirty/occupied room. Hence the average review there. I can only rate the spaces i was in like the rooms and exterior of the building. The exterior needed new lines painted in the lot and also looked like it could use some upkeep.

Not very good quality. Fan made noise in bathroom (loud rattle), window air conditioner didn’t work well so room was too warm. Too cheap to stay in again.

Staff directed us to a convenient dining option next door. We spent the day at Tahquamenon Falls State Park about 25 miles. Fall color tour, great hiking, amazing scenery modern restful hotel close to fun, especially if camping isn’t your persuasion.

When we got there to check in at 5pm our room still wasn't available which should have been available at 3pm. We finally got into our room at 6:30pm. Then my boys went swimming and asked for towels and were told they were all dirty so they had walk to our room soaked. When we left for a excursion on our 3rd day there we put the sign on our door for the room to be tidied up. Well we were gone for 8 hours and when we came back they hadn't done anything so we called down to the front desk to at least get towels and garbage bags so we could empty the garbage. Instead of them bringing us those items they told us to come and get the stuff. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all!

Nice spot to stay while in the Upper Peninsula. Hotel a little outdated. Rooms are nice. Bathroom needs to be updated and cleaned. Especially the ceilings. Breakfast was really good in the morning.

I appreciated having a hotel with pool and hot tub in the middle of north woods/ UP. It does need a little TLC, worn furniture, paint needed at hot tub. Front breakfast seating area carpet looks very stained or dirty--hoping it was not the print of the carpet -- looked muddy (?). Not alot of choice for restaurants in this area, especially late season. But Tahquamenon Falls area is beautiful.
