Enjoyed my stay, pool was lovely, shame about the size of the changing facilities and only one working hairdryer. Limited choices on the dinner menu. Overall a good stay, good location, clean and spacious room, polite staff and good breakfast choices.

Disappointed with the restaurant in the evening. The meal was too expensive for what it was. The bathroom in the room could possibly need a little upgrade. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning didn’t work, however there was a small oil filled radiator to use. Refreshments in the room were sparse. Disappointed about having to pay extra for parking. Staff were very accommodating and polite.

Overnight stay to visit Newbury garden show. Asked to pay £8.00 for parking at the hotel which was not mentioned prior to booking, Booked a double room got a connecting room disappointing obviously could hear next doors TV talking etc. Sat outside with our drinks, dried bird poo over most of the chairs, Overflow tank in the roof space was spilling out every where, advised to book restaurant for dinner which we did, arrived on time to be told sit where you like without checking reservation, dinner was not hot and nothing to write home about . Spa and pool very nice breakfast much the same as dinner except my partner had an additional hair on her plate that was not hers. Budget Hotel feeling with bonus of a spa.

I have emailed directly. I wanted to share some feedback following my last two stays at Orida — the first on the previous Monday, and again last night. During the first visit, the plug socket in the room wasn’t working, the iron leaked and damaged a shirt, and the thermostat wasn’t functioning. I had hoped this was just an isolated issue, but unfortunately, last night’s stay raised similar concerns. The bathroom was not clean, the sink was cracked (and clearly had been for some time), and there was visible mould on the walls. It feels as though attention to detail and basic room standards are being overlooked. As someone working regularly at Vodafone HQ just up the road, I had been planning to stay 2–3 nights a week. However, based on these recent experiences, I’ll need to reconsider.

Welcomed very well and informed of hotel information and breakfast was plentiful. Downside it does need a revamp and upgrade in rooms . No telephones were in use and it had no wifi a discount should of been offered . We ordered room service for our evening meal food was plentiful and very tasty the had been a error in reception they should of advised of the charge of a tray service which he had forgotten to mention to us so other staff was clearly unhappy which should not of been seen or herd by guests .

Good for a business stopover.

I think it was the last week as a Hilton hotel. Staff were all excellent. The room was basic and in need of modernisation. Fine for a one night business trip but nothing more.

Clean rooms, good breakfast and nice pool facilities. There were some cleanliness issues, particularly in the changing rooms for the swimming pool. However the star of the show was the lovely Vincent on reception who bent over backwards to help us. Would stay again

For. Hilton this hotel is extremely basic (the price is not) no room service, no food after 9:00pm, a hard mattress, an extremely thin mattress, no lift, you have to pay for parking even if your a hotel guest. It’s really not good. Better options locally

The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool a good size to relax and swim with children. Shame the room was a bit dirty. There was a yellow stain by the toilet. Covered it up with some tissue and it seeped through the tissue. I was not going to clean it. There were also stains on the toilet seat which I had to clean up to use.
