A great location. Excellent restaurants nearby. A new property, so it is very “fresh” and clean. But rooms are quite small, very limited space to hang things on a rack. No breakfast provided at all, although free coffee provided downstairs. Expensive valet parking.

Not to impressed

The personal at the front desk not to friendly and they careless of our need. It’s nice building but I wasn’t too impressed considering the high price. Plus, not complimentary coffee in the room and the room were clean but very tiny space, we barely have room to pass by around the bed and the bathroom. The positive part of our stay it was, the elevator and entrances are very secure and the valet service was exceptional 👌

Excellent location. Restaurant/ bar next door. My only complaint is the room size is very tiny. There’s no closet or dresser to put clothing in. And the gym is very tiny. Otherwise nice new hotel.

Quick getaway

Great location. No amenities, no restaurant as part of hotel but right next door. Only coffee and tea in am and only Valet parking. Parking $35/day off seasons and $45/day in season. Rooms are clean and eco friendly. Reusable water bottle with a bottle filling station. Lights only on when you enter room and insert key card. Gorgeous views and lovely sitting areas throughout.

The property design was fantastic, the room decor was lovely, the staff was friendly, the area is exceptional, and the sunset from the porch was delightful. The only suggestion is adding mini refrigerators to the rooms.

The Hammetts Hotel is a beautiful hotel. I would stay again but ask for a little bit bigger room. I didn't like having the sink in the hallway. It is convenient to all the shops and restaurants. The valet parking was a bonus.

April stay

Really lovely one night stay in April. Check in was really easy and we were given a free upgrade. The hotel was lovely and felt really clean and contemporary. We had a lovely view of the harbour from our room.

Best blackout shades for sleeping that I’ve ever experienced. And I loved that there was a daybed by the window to watch the harbor. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. As for negatives - the water pressure on the 3rd floor was not great, and I’m not a fan of the shower-wall mounted toiletries.
