Charming, freshly decorated, full breakfast included, no charge for parking (offsite, but a nice walk) Extremely reasonable in December. Because it was so cheap, I feared it would be a dive. Wonderful property and staff, but could be noisy

This bed and breakfast was newly updated, very comfortable, had an extremely attentive staff, and a delicious breakfast. The only reason we can't give it 5 stars is due to the noise level. The walls and floors are very thin and if you are unlucky enough to have active neighbors, it will ruin your stay. We were up till 4:30am while the wedding party goers were stomping around above us. I can't blame the property owners or staff...it's not really their fault and this is what you sign up for in a bed and breakfast when you are essentially rooming with others in a home converted into a hotel. I would consider staying again, but would never stay on the first floor again. The ear plugs available in the breakfast area should have been clue!
