Just be aware

Our first room experience was terrible! We have a dog that is diabetic. If he is without me for more than 24 hours he goes into crisis. He won’t eat, all he can do is drink water then vomit all the water he just drank. So we have to take him out of town with us. So when we got to the hotel they put us in a room that wasn’t even attached to the main hotel. The room smelled SO bad, there were scratches and a door chewed and I didn’t even sit down but I had 2 bites from something in that room on me. Luckily my dog has had all of his shot and treated for fleas and ticks. So obviously went to the front desk and told them we would not be staying in that room. I have pictures of the bites and the places in the room. They were kind enough to put us in a different room in the main hotel which was fine but I still sprayed with Lysol and wiped everything down with Lysol wipes!

We really did a day trip to destin for the beach but didnt want to kill our budget. So we picked best western. The front desk clerk was named Jennifer? And she was nice and welcoming. She got us checked in promptly. The room was clean the bathroom was stocked. The breakfast was decent for what it was. The pool could be bigger but my kids enjoyed it before checkout and speaking of checkout it was perfect!!
