Eban, the general manager, was knowledgeable about area activities and sites to see. He is also a very generous person with his time and shows real concern making sure that his travelers are well taken care of. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for the shower and the water pressure was very strong. Room size was adequate.

100 nope!

Have stayed here many times in past and it was clean and never issue this stay was horrible and 1st room was dirty tub and tub mat was beyond gross. Second room stunk. Will not be going back

This property needs a little face lift but was clean and in a great location. We love the Muddy Moose just a short walk away. Needed more coffee and maybe a small snack or two in the morning wouldn;t hurt.

Basic, no frills motel with dated furniture. However, room was clean and the beds comfortable.

At least the sheets were clean - and there was a peacock themed clock that was pretty entertaining. Not sure how that fit with a colonial theme, but it gave us a chuckle. That’s about all the positive news I can share. I always check the beds & found that under the clean sheets there were dirty old mattress pads and mattress covers. I opened the mattress covers & found that the mattresses were fairly worn, but no signs of bugs, so ok there. The rest of the room needed some updating, repainting, patching holes where they have moved things over the years. The back of the bathroom door looked terrible.

They wanted to tape our key on outside of office door because we would be coming late. No one on duty and office locked after 9-10. We didn’t feel safe doing this. Went to eat instead and then went back for key. Different man there who did not speak any English. Kept asking me for my room number. Told him I did not have one yet. He kept asking same question. Ask where the other man was and and he shrug shoulders because he didn’t understand. He finally went out back and a young lady came out and asked for room number. Told her didn’t have one yet. She asked for ID. Said oh I see and gave me a room key and I had to sign a paper. There were stains on the bedspread. That looked like oil that went through to blanket. Door did not latch tight. Could have easily pushed it open.

Strong smell/oder of pee. Maybe a dog peed in the room? Door could not open all the way as it hit the bed. Towels were horribly rough. Beds had big dips in them and slid on the base. Would not recommend.
