Slightly better than being unsheltered

I’ve stayed here three times. While it’s not the nicest place, it’s affordable and conveniently located near EV charging, which I appreciate. That said, I was particularly disappointed by the lack of transparency regarding the pool and spa amenities. I always look forward to soaking in a hot tub after a long day of hiking, so I asked about the hours when I checked in and was told it closes at 10 PM. Unfortunately, I later found out the hot tub has been permanently closed—despite still being advertised as available. The front desk should have been upfront about this when I asked. It was frustrating to return from a long hike expecting to relax, only to discover it wasn’t even an option.

Place was clean and good for the price. Breakfast room was way too small for the amount of rooms and uncomfortably crowded. Staff was not Mable to keep up with demand. Rooms were comfortable and a good size. Needs to be renovated.

Unless they improve I don’t recommend.

The front desk person was nice but the room was not good. It had space under the door, the sofa was dirty and the fire extinguisher was hanging down from the ceiling. It looked really old, and unkempt. I won’t be going back and don’t recommend it.

This place was what we needed for the most part. It had breakfast (though options were limited), and it was pet-friendly. It was also easy to walk to everything in Oakhurst from this hotel. However, the parking is terrible, especially around the corners. People are parking wherever they want to, not in marked spaces, and nothing seems to be done about it.

The “business rate” room was at the the very front of the motel; about 25 feet from the very busy highway. They had plenty of rooms, and would upgrade me. But it would still be a motel on the highway with an exterior like a city block. The room was clean. Television received three whole channels. I couldn’t leave fast enough in the morning

Walk in, first thought... Needs up grade, get the nasty carpet out. And touch up all scoffs on wall, Terrible TV options, old loud heater works great but loud. Frigidaire loud works but load. Bed gets a 3 out of 5. Clean all around just poor old carpet. Got back from a long day to very loud and rude neighbors upstairs with a little child. WHY WOULD YOU PUT FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN UPSTAIRS!! 😤 The front desk service was Good 👍Breakfast was decent thank you. Probably wouldn't stay again sorry. Your competing with better hotels & air bnb, do better.

The rooms are spacious. I enjoyed the atmosphere. For us the plus was seeing so many families, even at night taking a stroll around the neighborhood. FYI there is a park nearby, if you are traveling with younger children, is a good place to stretch out.
