Friendly hotel..apart from one particular guest..dragging furniture around their floor/our ceiling at night..god knows why. Bed was comfortable..pillows were AWFUL..like wet cement..bathroom so small the door couldn’t open beyond 18” or so. Crawling with large ants for some reason..all over the toilet bowl. The decor was very tired and quite badly done. The atmosphere was lovely..green plants in a central courtyard..lovely rooftop cafe..good food and friendly staff. Great location for seeing Oaxaca..great cafes and shops within a few minutes walk. The centre of town..Centro..I think was really close. It’s a place to base not to lounge in..small gym..avoided that..!! Stay there for sure..but get out and about in town..it’s absolutely beautiful.

The first room felt like a dungeon. Sink had broken chips and saw a cockroach. Terrible lighting and smelled weird. Asked to change rooms. Moved to a different much nicer room but they made me pay full price and I had to pay for both rooms despite not using one. The second room had no towels. Asked three separate times before they finally brought up towels. The woman at check out was nice thoughm

The bathroom was so small you practically have to get in the shower to close the door. Very drafty. Loud in am I could hear the conversation in the hotel restaurant I could hear the blender. There is no blackout curtains so it was light all the time. In the am because of the sun and in the evening it was the street lights

The room was spacious, clean and the entire hotel was as described in the pictures. We were upgraded to a room with a private terrace & infinity pool, with amazing views of the Santo Domingo church. The rooftop shared jacuzzi and sun deck were amazing as well. The front desk staff were amazing & helped us with directions, activities and booking ground transportation. The location was central and we felt safe walking everywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

A truly rustic hotel still in Centro but a few blocks away from the noisier sections. Friendly, accommodating service from the staff. Bed was comfortable. The on-site restaurant is small but had great food and great service. The property is well-maintained but quite old, so expect non-contemporary accommodations like a tiny bathroom, can hear your neighbors, etc.
