We were catfished and thought the hotel would look nicer than it did. The people were cool some wonderful black queens and one nice Caucasian… other than that the place is not sound proof so you’ll here Tabitha and Lucy walking back into their room at 2am, and the sheets were very thin so be prepared to not be cozy. Bring extra blankets and thick ones

I love that this hotel is steps from the beach and right on the boardwalk. It is an older hotel which I love but they definitely need to update the rooms. The shower is very tiny as is the bathroom. The water pressure, as expected, wasn't the best. It literally took 10 minutes before the water got hot but I was just grateful that it did. The mattresses are pretty soft and likely need to be replaced. There are not nearly enough outlets in the room. It was a struggle to charge our devices, electric toothbrushes, etc... Having said all of that, the view was spectacular as we had an ocean front room. The hotel is clean and the staff was friendly. The prices are very reasonable. I would stay here again.

We got there at 3:15/3:20 and our room was not ready had to wait 20 minutes. Lobby is nice Porch is a great way to relax. People running through the hallways at 2:00am very loud. Room smelled of nothing but mildew. Long hair in the bathroom on Towels( which wasn’t mind I have very short hair) Wouldn’t recommend this particular hotel.

The hotel offered great amenties and a wonderful lobby area when we could hang out with our group of friends. The location was perfect and there was ample parking. The rooms were small, but had everything we needed.

Great location! Front porch was perfect. Top porch you couldn’t go out on? Davinci Italian restaurant was very good. Older property with small room and bathroom. Little noisy and the beds are real soft. For the location and price you can’t beat it.

We had the 2 double bed room and its very very small. Both beds but up against the wall, made it difficult getting out of bed. The air conditioner was old, could not read the screen so guessing what the temp was.

I was alittle nervous about this stay based on some negative reviews because I booked a 3 day weekend in May and then 2 more rooms to stay for a week in July but I have no idea what some expect. We travel frequently, have stayed in hotels 5x more expensive, and we loved our stay here. The staff was so friendly and went over and above to assist us. The hotel and rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel has a beautiful charm to it from the lobby to the rocking chairs on the porch. My only suggestion is to bring a split charger for phones as there aren’t as many outlets as new hotels which I would assume is because the majority of things that need plugged in weren’t around when it was built. Also, it sounds odd to say but the lobby smells amazing, I wish I knew what that smell was to bring it home. It’s a beautiful, historic hotel with an amazing location, lovely staff, nice coffee/cocoa bar, the absolute best porch, and clean, lovely room. We can’t wait to return!

The location was perfect! Right on the boardwalk is very convenient. Rooms and bathrooms are small but very doable and the trade off is being within 50 yards of the water. Parking was convenient and the pool had a staffed bar and live music. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.

We were on the first floor, which felt more like a basement. It felt like a horror movie, old and dingy. The bathroom is for very small people. My husband could barely turn around in the shower and you have to squeeze yourself past the corner sink to get to the toil . The pool was also not filled and this was in mid May. Dont think id stay here again unless its all that was available.
