Was not welcomed by staff on arrival. When checking in, my 3 year old daughter needed to use the restroom. I asked if my husband could finish checking in for us while i took her. She did not point us in the direction of the restoom nor tell us there was a code to get in to the restroom. After checking in, no direction as to.where the elevator was or that we would need to scan our room card to even get onto.the elevator. Once we got into our room, mold was found on the ceiling above the bathtub. The fire dectector was missing from.the ceiling and wires were exposed. Called the front desk and they switched us to a room down the hall.staff was a little more pleasant at this encounter. Unfortunatly there was mold again in the same spot on the ceiling in the bathroom as well. We were too nervous to let staff know after inital expereince and already switching rooms once. We wanted to just leave the hotel but could not afford to be out $450. The only good experience about this hotel.is the waterpark. It does not feel good knowing we are staying in a room being exposed to mold. Especially our 2 and 3 year old children. We will never come back to this hotel. Things should have been handled a lot differently by staff. I do have pictures of all above mentioned issues in our room if you would like me to provide them.
