Old and Outdated, Overpriced Average Breakfast

The units have heating problems in the winter. There is a heater but with no insulation and old windows, the cold air whips in and the heater can not keep up. Toilet seats are frigid even though their is another heater in the bathroom! Beds are extremely uncomfortable, mattresses need replacing. Breakfast was average, hot food was cold. Certainly not worth what they are charging for breakfast! Overall, the hotel is old and outdated, can not keep heat in the winter. Even though the price was on the cheaper side (not for breakfast though), I would not book this hotel again.

For a Superior room booking it wasn't worth the room rate. Only two towels for three persons. Likewise, only two chairs despite the booking made for three. No cutlery. Carpet was dirty.

Stuck in the 70’s

The name sounds nice, and it is the only Hotel around of this size in that area, but man is it stuck in the 1970’s! You think they would’ve refurbished it by now and got in to the 2000’s lol. Reception was closed when we got there and had to go to bar to check-in, but had to wait for 3 people to be served drinks 1st.

Poor facilities compared to other motels. Reception staff very abrupt. Room under stairway was noisey with early morning guests waking us before 6am. No parking outside due to stairway so had to park outside someone’s else’s unit. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom door didn’t close without force and shower door was obstructed by doorway. No bathroom extraction for steam.
