We actually stayed 3 nights. Top floor of 2 story condo building. Check-in was good. Ahhh….the smell of Weed heading up to our room. (Insert Sarcasm Here) Parking spot blocked the entryway sidewalk to our room. Throughout our stay, noises and the smell of Weed permeated around us. Loud TV or music through the walls and floors. 7 am wake-up call with loud voices outside the window. Stayed here a few times before and was much nicer. Front gates remain open where they use to be operational for guest security. Really like this property but not sure “Weed”stay here anymore. J. Dove

The room is very comfortable. It just needs some updating. The landscape needs to be done. But really nice and close to Old Town and many other things. Its a very relaxing atmosphere. We have stayed here several times.

This place was a Pleasant surprise, we absolutely loved this place. I was a little disappointed as the apartment didn’t match the photos when I booked it was a bit outdated but for the price it was worth it. I enjoyed the wild life l, there was an alligator that lived in the pond by the pool as well as plenty of deer and many over friendly raccoons that would come to the sliding doors. If on the floor level it was important to keep sliding doors closed as the raccoons would come right in. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Great resort but looking shabby

We have stayed at Barefoot many times over 10 years. Although we lover the resort, especially the facilities, location and outlook, the rooms and grounds are getting shabby and the place really needs a refit. Room and ground staff are very friendly and work hard to keep the place clean and tidy. Although we would prefer not to, we may look for a different location later in the year until the resort is refreshed.

The property is really good .clean and good outdoor facilities . My 7 day stay was totally ruined by the pure incompetence of the front desk staff , definitely won’t be staying there again ,purely down to front desk who gave me 3 email addresses for customer care and not one was a correct address .

Be careful of room type

We had booked a 2 bedroom condo and that was not what we got. We had 1 room downstairs and 1 totally separate room upstairs. They were only connected by a stairwell, and each room had its own doors and keys. The office staff were unfriendly and not helpful at all. The owner/manager was very nice and helpful when we finally got to talk to him. The rooms were clean and roomy, they simply were not the room type we had booked.

Late check in and early checkout was the worst part of this stay. You wake up tired and have to rush out of this property. They do not have any Ice on the property and although they had a coffee pot in the room, they did not leave enough sugar or creamer for the coffee. Otherwise it is a nice place for a family and the location was good too.

Stayed at this resort it needs pest control killed roaches for 3 days. Told the front desk and all they could say is sorry. No compensation no change of room. There was hair in the bathroom floor. No ventilation in the bedroom in order to get air in the bedroom thermostat needed to be put on 68 which ment you would freeze in the living room kitchen area. All of this was told to the receptionist
