All was good aside from beds being a bit uncomfortable for a Hampton Inn. The bathroom had the fan come on automatically when turning the light on, and it was obnoxiously loud.

The two women at the front desk were obnoxious. I asked if I just check in earlier and they said they would let me know. I asked if I could just wait in the lobby until my room was ready because my son was trying to work on some homework. About 30 mins later they called out at me across the lobby that my room was available, I was happy to hear that and I said, “oh really” with excitement because I was happy to be able to get into the room so quickly. They both started hysterically laughing at me as I was walking up. So immature and unprofessional to laugh at a customer in front of their face. I wish had gotten their names because they were acting like teenagers.

For the price the beds were so hard that sleeping on the floor would be more comfortable. Besides that, our room was infested with ants. We bought some things from universal and put them on the counter, macaroons and fudge, and they were covered in ants when we went to enjoy them. There were also ants all over the bed table. The breakfast was good except they served the same thing everyday and no bacon except for one day. The lady giving out mints was nice. Also no shuttle except for at 8am and it’s packed to the brim with people. Overall the place was a disappointment and I would not stay again.

This was a convenient stay for the universal parks. The rooms are very dated. Showers need to be remolded and tubs removed. Bar soaps should be replaced with liquid soap. Breakfast was your average free meal. Overall decent stay but I’d try somewhere else if returning.

We enjoyed our stay. A plus is the free parking and continental breakfast. It's a good spread too, and it's not just muffins and cereal. There's two waffle makers to make your own, one for a large one and the other makes mini's and they're sooooo good. Super close to Universal and not very far from other parks. If you're looking for quiet and not the hustle and bustle of the overcrowded, noisy resorts, this is the place to stay. We're already looking to book our next stay.
