This might just be one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed perfect location, great amenities, and a breakfast that could practically make you believe in happiness. But if you’re traveling with kids, brace yourself. Two king beds sounded luxurious until we realized that’s literally all we got. No table because who needs a surface to eat, work, or exist on, right? Our kids, of course, weren’t hungry when we were out surrounded by food. No, they waited until we were just settling into bed to announce they were starving. Trying to feed them without a table felt like a survival challenge episode. Want to warm something up? Hope you enjoy scenic walks to the lobby because that’s the only place the microwave lives. Craving ice? Prepare for a lovely staircase experience to the second floor, because we were apparently unworthy of frozen water on floor one. And that luxury bathroom sink? Absolutely stunning in the way modern art is stunning looks cool, makes zero sense. It shot water like a pressure washer, the bowl was shaped like a decorative fruit dish, and it sat at a height only a basketball player could love. Definitely not child-friendly unless your kid enjoys getting splashed like they’re at SeaWorld. The TV, though nice! Premium channels, on demand, the works. Only problem? You couldn’t actually hear anything. Either the volume was capped at “whisper,” or the movies were meant to be mimed. Hard to say.
