BYO Blanket and Pillow

Booked this room as a quick stay to break up a long drive. So just looking for a clean room that was comfortable to sleep in. We checked in late, the room did not have pillows and the floors were so dirty that our socks were black after walking around in the room. The bathroom had hair left in the tub, the tub was missing the grab bar and the shower head was corroded to the point I opted not to shower. The staff was nice and helpful with providing pillows when I went downstairs to request them. It’s a bar minimum type of set up which I kinda expected but not to the bare minimum that it was. The beds did not have blankets, just the sheet which was supper thin- but at least I knew they were washed. Conveniently located off the interstate and there is an Outback across the street and a Cracker Barrel just down the block and a Starbucks on the way back out to the interstate as well as a gas station- so 5 stars on convenience.

Room was NOT clean. There was a very strong smell of weed in common areas. Linen wasn’t washed (seemed previously used with hair and dirt). One lady at the front desk was extremely rude and had an attitude towards guests. I will not stay here EVER again and will not recommend it.

Staff wasnt rude but you could tell she didnt care about being helpful. The elevator smelled like hydraulic fluid so bad that im not sure theres a problem with it. The smell in the hallways from everyone cooking food was disgusting. There are many children living in differerent rooms of this hotel. Many families are living there. I would not reccomend this hotel for vacationers or a quick stay.

The staff are friendly and helpful. During a recent move, we have had to bounce around to different hotels while traveling from New England to Orlando. We tried another hotel closer to the Orlando area to try and save some funds. That proved to be a bad decision and returned here. Economical value and a better stay all around. The area is safe here in Sanford. While this hotel does not offer breakfast, there are many dining options close by, some within walking distance and others a short drive away. If you are looking for bells and whistles, pay more and go there. If you are looking for a convenient, bug free, clean, quiet and safe space, you can’t go wrong here. They are pet friendly, however they will only allow dogs. Bonus points for being right next door to a Wawa.

It was a not as clean as I expected. Pellow covers where stained with something. And the Windows of the building doesn't isolates the the sound from the street near buy. But is better sound than the air conditioning sound. Just to clarify I don't like that someone calls white noise. Any bussing sounds does not make me restful.

No maid service even on an 11-night stay. Because I called corporate. About a lot of things, the manager retaliated against me and my family (whistle blower). I reserved another 5 nights on Wed. 08/28/2025 to arrive on Sat.08/31/20255 and check out on 09/04/2025. No call, nothing. I drove the 3-hr. drive after closing our own business. Arrived at 10:04 p.m. to check in and was told that my reservation was cancelled by the Manager and placed on a DNR list. No call, no notification until I arrived. I am a reg. late check in. Smoking bench by the pond has a 4-5' Alligator in it right now. DANGEROUS for evening smokers. It has NO fear of humans! What that manager did is illegal, immoral and unethical. Call me at (727)556-2696 or like the previous guest I will be seeking legal action and take it all the way!! Illegal to retaliate againt " Whistle Blower."
