Carissa was amazing and very helpful. She was the front desk manager in the evening. And was very helpful and kind. Unfortunately, the front desk morning staff was not as friendly and helpful.

The carpet was a little bit old and needed to get cleaned. The beds were super comfy! The hotel is super quiet and has a peaceful atmosphere. The pool was very clean. The gym was very nice. There was ample parking. And we were five minutes from Starved rock.

It was an ok experience. I’m not overwhelmed or underwhelmed by the experience. I did not care for the chlorine smell in the shower or the number of kids running up and down the halls (3rd flooor). Would I patronize this establishment again? I’m not opposed to it.

There are no amenities available during my stay, which isn’t mentioned when booking. When I brushed my teeth, I rinsed my mouth with the water and even though I didn’t swallow it had a chemical taste which upset my stomach later in the day. Staff is friendly though and professional.

We went for the water park. We had about 2 hours in the morning to spend there and the majority of the pool was closed due to a filter issue.

The staff at the Grand Bear Resort informed me that the water park, fitness center and bar/restaurant services were closed until the weekend. This was not disclosed on your website! She also informed me that the cost of the room was $92 that evening however I paid $121 via your website service. I found all of this unacceptable. I am extremely unhappy and would appreciate a refund for the difference. There also should be an update in your website regarding so others do not fall prey to this unfortunate issue.
