I liked it because it was simple, clean, quiet and close to town. The staff was very friendly and helpful in finding good dining and places to visit. I thought the bathrooms were tiny. They could have easily been another foot wider and longer.

They had a basket of s’more fixing at the front desk, and we were told that they had a nightly bonfire behind the building to make them at. We met a lot of interesting people at the bonfire. We were also told about a river walk way that went into town, so we wouldn’t have to walk along the highway. I was disappointed that they didn’t have any recycling bins.

The staff checking us in was polite and helpful. Our room was very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. My husband and I enjoyed sitting around a fire at the end of the day, and smores from the complimentary smore packet.
