We stay here every time we come to the area. We love its proximity to family and the village/restaurants nearby. We usually love our stay at the hotel but this time wasn’t as great. Our main complaint and dislike this time was the lack of understanding regarding our accommodation needs as a family of 4. We were fairly long term guests ($) and we were given a tiny room extremely far from the elevators. We have two small toddlers so this was beyond inconvenient. Given our lengthy stay we figured there might be some consideration taken to place us somewhere with space and convenience. A mini fridge for over a week long stay? That was a treat with small kids. None of this was taken into consideration and when I went to the front desk to ask for something more convenient, the price for a change was ridiculous. Any other time we’ve come there has been such great effort to be accommodating, this time fell horribly short. It’s summer, and it was during the week. So off season and not even a weekend. And yet we were stuck. There was even talk about staying elsewhere next time we visit because we were so disappointed, which is sad given every other time has been great. Hoping this reaches the right people and there are special considerations moving forward for more long term and faithful guests. The hot tub jets weren’t function in some areas and the tub was dirty and full with hair. Also we had guests come for lunch at the restaurant get tickets in the parking area.
