We love the location! Near Lighthouse, golf course, cemetery(quiet) and coastline. Room is spacious and charming. Fireplace is nice for chilly nights. We usually stay for a winter visit. This year was sunny and 60°, but also great when it's stormy.

Staff was friendly. It has been a few years since we stayed at Lighthouse Lodge. Things have changed. Items that were free or everyday, now cost, or in the case of housekeeping not every day. The Lodge is getting old.

Had a wonderful stay here. Cute lodge, we got a room with a view and fireplace that was easy and cozy. Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable enough. Wish they would upgrade their towels(larger+softer would be better) but no biggie. Front desk(and other)staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. We did breakfast one day, it was a good deal but nothing to write home about.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. Very charming cottages with a lot of appeal. It’s a few blocks from downtown Pacific Grove but the overall location is great. Rooms are pretty basic but everything is clean and in working condition. Breakfast is kind of basic but it’s nice that they do it. The whole property just gives off a cool coastal vibe. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived the reception was very kind and helpful our check in was quick no issues, upon entering to our room there was only one bed and the original reservation had a bed and sofa bed “cottage jr suite” and the room did not have the sofa bed. I called the front desk and were able to change us to a room that was not a cottage which it was not as comfortable as the cottage. My daughter when to use the bathroom and said the bathroom was wet I looked and cleaned it up thinking someone spilled water but no one had showered so I wiped the floor down and in the morning the floor was wet again and no one had used the restroom after wiping it down.

This is a nice location, walking distance to the rec trail but if you get a room on the lower floor the cell phone reception is terrible and their WiFi is not great. Room itself is nice and we enjoyed the swing by the cemetery but it probably should be tightened up…was a little wobbly. Liked the to go snack bags :-)

The room had dirty carpet and walls chipped paint the bathroom walls the paint was bubbled due to shower steam I’m guessing needed repairs the shower head was terrible half of the holes were plugged very sad situation & we were woken up @3am with mice or rats inside the wall running around and scratching noises which I told the front desk the next day when I went to get towels no maid services while you are there! I was told well we upgraded you already from a Queen to a king with a fire place so we won’t down grade you which to be honest the reservation was made in August so I didn’t remember and no one mentioned that when we checked in he said we could move… the fitted sheets were not deep enough to stay put overall will never stay there again I would zero stars
