The Pearl was our last stop on a 2 weeks honeymoon in Fiji and we found the resort to be comfortable and was a great location if you wanted to do the River Tubing nearby. The rooms were clean and the staff were excellent when we were able to get ahold of them. We went in May so I think it was the off time because we definitely noticed there being areas of short staffing. For example the gift shop was never opened once even though we asked 3 separate people if it was going to be opened at some point. It would have been fine if it was closed since its the off season but every time we asked someone it seemed like they were going to get someone who could open it but that person never actually opened it in the 4 days we were there. There were also times where it was a little hard to find the events person which yet again gave us the feeling that the place was short staffed/ was operating with lower staff in the Off season.

Great resort with great amenities and facilities. Spacious outdoors. Great breakfast buffet. Enjoyed the lovo buffet as well as the Fijian meke. Lovely staff, particular shout out to reception staff Millie as well as the friendly bar tender (jonny I think) and the young lady with the white T-shirt at the breakfast service (didn’t catch her name). Those guys made the stay even more enjoyable with their friendliness, kindness and care. Thank you Pearls team.

They told me I had an upgrade when I had actually received a downgrade. The food was extremely average, and because of this we went across the road to a place called The Establishment to eat. There were hardly any activities at the hotel. My teenage boys found it quite boring.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable. The pools need to be resurfaced and the grounds need a bit of an upgrade. The golf course needs to get drainage installed. We played but I have never experienced a wetter golf course. It could be such a lovely course with some TLC.

We are pleased to have stayed at this resort during this low season, there were about a dozen guests in the 3 days. We didn’t have to fight for lounge chairs by the pool. It was rather tranquil and peaceful. Room was spacious and great with the ocean view. Beds were a bit soft. AC worked well. Staff was pleasant and helpful, but seemed to be less knowledgeable about the services. So all is good, except, the food. The buffet breakfast left much to be desired, boring choices. BUT, the lamb sausage tasted like stale meat, the vegetable dishes were bland and mushy. The Spa service was ok The best thing about this hotel is the compound and the view. SPECTACULAR 👈👈
