Overall the room and everything was somewhat clean, but the pictures of the hotel/room make everything look a lot nicer than it actually is. We also would have liked more communication about what came with the room… did not know there were beach chairs until we were leaving. Our shower did not work when we first got there, however maintenance happened extremely fast and they were very friendly.

Beautiful historical hotel where some rooms have been turned into small condo rentals. The name on the hotel is The Palms which was a bit confusing. Room was very well done as far as decorating, good bed, small table with 2 chairs and small kitchen. Our only problem was the parking which we didn’t understand until it was communicated the day before our stay. There is limited street parking from 5pm to 10am after which you have to move your car or be ticketed. There is a valet service unless it is full. This is in a very nice section of Palm Beach. The only negative is the parking.

Although the location was great and the staff very friendly, the condition of the room needs attention. With regards to the staff wished they had given me more information regarding how to operate the a/c as the one in the bedroom was not working properly or give instructions in the room would of helped. The bathroom needs some updating new vanity, paint, showerhead, a shelf to put things on. The bathroom sink kept clogging. the closet smelled musty as well as the hallways. the hallways need to be renovated. I thought the hotel was in better condition until I read an email right before I was coming that hinted to the condition with hot water taking 20 minutes because the hotel was older (which was not an issue)and that there were renovations going on. The photos online were deceiving. The room itself sitting area and bedroom were fine.
