Another nice relaxing stay

Had another great visit. The room I had requested wasnt available but the lady at the front desk took care of me so was happy with the above and beyond level of customer service. Pools were clean and warm but the swimming pool for the last few visits has been pretty cold so do one was using it. That does tend to move the kids from the pool to the spas which is not very relaxing for the adults trying to relax. But, overall a nice trip. See you all again next month!

The spa pools were great--really impressive. I would have been in one except for the cold weather and wind. The room was clean but shabby and the hot water was sometimes very hot, but could change unexpectedly to cold and back again! Cold tap water was generally lukewarm. This is a nicely situated hotel with great potential given updates in the rooms and plumbing. Attached restaurant and bar were handy.

Would advise you stay elsewhere due to condition of facility. Although staff friendly and linens clean this is where it ended. The place simply is too run down to repair, walls and railings sagging, cracked concrete and pools did not appear clean. No hot water in the bathroom on both days. Anyone who buys a $10 day pass can come in, tons of kids running amok and people were eating and dropping food into the pools. I would not return and building actually appears structurally unsafe.

I was concerned about the pools being 24-hours… but even with a room that opens to the pool deck, we were not at all disturbed by the late night fun being had by people in the hot springs or even the people performing karaoke. Will stay here again!

Be warned!

This place clearly had it's heyday many, MANY years ago. While the room was affordable for the area and the pictures make you think of an amazing spa vacation, that is NOT what you get. The pools and jacuzzis were fine, nothing fancy in my opinion but the room was TERRIBLE. When you first walk in the room smells like mold and the wooden floors are warped (likely from people walking around on them after being in the pools). Quite literally, within the first few hours of being there we found two cockroaches. The sliding door opened up onto a patio that wrapped around the entire side of the building, so no privacy whatsoever with people continually walking by in the night. The bed was hard as a rock and the shower water turned from warm to instantly cold while I was showering. My partner and I hardly wanted to touch anything in that room, let alone sleep there. I read other reviews and I don't know how our experience was so incredibly different compared to those raving about visiting for years and years. Front desk people were very nice, and its understandable that it has an outdated look to it, but the cleanliness was, unfortunately, just abhorrent. I hate leaving bad reviews, but if you have any sort of cleanliness problem, I highly recommend you stay far away.

The online pictures and reviews do not match the actual place. The overall condition was extremely run down and I did not feel safe. There was supposed to be secure parking but the gate did not lock. The pools did not look clean. I was supposed to stay for 2 nights but checked out after 1 night.

First time visiting this resort, we have frequented the sister resort across the street. They are similar, albeit we were only able to stay for 1 night. We did notice there were less functioning hot tubs, several were cold at night. We will definitely be back to explore more.
