The plumbing in the room was bad overall. The parking lot stink, there was a bad odor all around. Carpet in the room was truly old, and probably you can’t tell if it’s clean. Mattresses were very uncomfortable, I can feel balls on something under my body. I was very sore every morning. The place is ready for an update. I won’t be staying there until I know this issues have been resolve.

Got our room on the 6th floor was a great view but realized they only gave me a single bed when I requested a 2 double bed for my family of 5. Tried to call the front desk but it wasn’t working so I had to go down to the lobby to tell them I had requested a 2 bed room with a view. Staff was great. From front desk, to restaurant, everyone was nice and cared about giving good service. Rooms were clean. Hotel is located walking distance to good restaurants and shops. Now the bad. I have been to many Hyatts and when it came to what it looked like inside, it was not to the level of any Hyatts I stayed at. More like a Holiday Inn. But for the price I paid, I expect better. Then they had some construction going on and they kept tripping the fire alarm starting at 6:30 AM. So no sleeping in. Then the hot water wasn’t working so besides no sleep, at least I woke up taking a cold shower.

Property was in hub of all palm spring activities. We paid for breakfast while booking the hotel, breakfast was good and all of us enjoyed it. Staff were very co-ordinal. Nothing to complain expect that they should have lower overnight parking charges.

I travel a lot and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. No hot water, it took 2 days and 4 phone calls for a hair dryer, not enough towels, hotel in disrepair, loud bar right outside our door.

There was no hot water for two days. I was there for my 70th birthday party. When I checked out on the 16 , the Hyatt said I could receive a refund for the two days I booked this reservation on my visa and have already paid it. How do I get my money back from here.

Great location to all the downtown activities. Staff was all friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar were good. Rooms are a bit dated and could be upgraded but well maintained. Expect resort fees, parking fees and high taxes on top of the room fee. If you know it going in you won’t be surprised. Took a room on the street side to enjoy the view of all the activity on Palm Canyon Dr. from our balcony. Take a Mountain View room if you prefer more quiet. We’ll go back to this property. Overall good stay.
