My recent stay at V Palm Springs was incredibly disappointing due to serious service and maintenance issues that completely disrupted our trip. Upon arrival, we were told that the lock on our room door wasn’t functioning because of a Wi-Fi issue, and that maintenance wouldn’t be available until 5 PM. In the meantime, we had to rely on the front desk to manually unlock our door every time we needed to enter — which was extremely inconvenient and frustrating.
The situation only got worse. We returned to the hotel at 3 AM after a long day, only to find that the lock still hadn’t been fixed — because maintenance never even showed up. There was no communication, no apology, and no sense of urgency to fix the issue.
When we brought our concerns to the front desk the next day and politely asked for a partial refund, we were met with a dismissive and rigid response. We were told our only options were to either move rooms ( with one option available on the second flood with no elevator) or check out entirely — neither of which was practical given that we were already settled in with a lot of luggage. There was zero attempt to make the situation right, and it felt incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate.
What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into a stressful and frustrating experience. I would not recommend this hotel, and I sincerely hope management takes these issues more seriously for future guests.
