Sunbird 509West, is the perfect condo for a small family vacation( for four)or a getaway for two! Inside, this adorable1 Bed/1 Bath gulf front condo has everything you need for a fun and relaxing stay at the beach. It is in a very popular area of Panama City Beach, on Thomas Drive next to the famous Pineapple Willy's Restaurant....in fact you can watch the customer eat the Jack Daniels ribs from the balcony of this unit! Hang out in the living room and watch the waves and sunsets through the large floor to ceiling window that over look the west pool and the beaches, or enjoy an evening on the private balcony, complete with chairs, breathtaking sunsets and endless gulf views. The fully equipped Kitchen provides granite counter tops, stainless steal appliances, cookware and all your cooking utensils.The Bedroom has a queen size bed, night stands on each side with lamps that are wall switched. We also have a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.The Bathroom has a granite top vanity, Medicine cabinet and full size Tub and Shower combo. Sunbird Condominiums is within walking distance to several more restaurants, shops, miniature golf, Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, and Walmart. Book your prefect get-a-way now!
*** Access to the beach from the west pool gate, center pool gate, or east pool gate… you mush use the parking lot code to exit the gates to the beach and then again to re-enter the gates back onto the property!
** All guest are required to purchase a parking pass $30.00 and Armbands $5.35 for each person over 12 years old. Both good for your stay. These items are purchased at the association office upon arrival. If the office is closed upon arrival, please purchase these from the security guard… you must have cash and the correct change or they round up, if you purchase from the security guard. The security guard does check the vehicle's on site during rounds for the parking permit.

Absolutely a gem!!!!

Don’t hesitate to book here! Seriously!!! An amazing condo! My wife and I booked it for a weekend away and were blown away! Super Clean, awesome beach views from the private balcony, and fully stocked kitchen! The owner is also fabulous! Sweet and gracious! Was available if we had any questions!

The property was clean and well stocked with all necessities. Fay was also amazing to us when we had an issue with a door handle. She was easy to get ahold of and offered to fix it right away. We had the best time and would definitely recommend.

Family Vacation

Loved our stay! Communication was clear and check in and out was very smooth. The condo was super clean and smelled good upon arrival and had everything we needed as far as linens and kitchen utensils. The beach isn’t as crowded in front of the Sunbird as some of the other condos we’ve stayed at in the past and the pools were very nice as well. The location of the Sunbird is perfect! Being right beside Pineapple Willy’s is an added bonus, we were able to use the side gate that’s connected to it to walk right over for dinner each night and not have to fight for parking. Definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful little place with great view of the beach, three pools, centrally located, clean!! The main downside was the dark vinyl decking around the property and to get to the beach was literally blistering hot all the time. First day, i blistered the bottom of my feet in mere minutes and watched a small child scream as they were placed down onto it. There should be a sign warning people about just how hot it can get. I have never experienced that down in PCB before, so it never even occurred to me that it would get THAT hot. But all in all, we lived the place and will definitely go back

Great summer beach vacation!

Beautifully decorated room, clean, comfortable furniture, bed was super comfortable as well. The host, Fay, was so helpful and easy to communicate with. Private balcony, great view from the 5th floor. No waiting for the elevators and plenty of parking. Love Sunbird! Will definitely be back!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at this property. It was extremely clean and was exactly as pictured. The location was awesome in a little bit less busy area. It was quiet and convenient to Pineapple Willy’s which was right next door. I would definitely recommend this property and were already planning for our next visit.

A much needed getaway

This was my first trip back to Panama City Beach after the sudden loss of my fiance. Panama held the most beautiful moments and memories for us. I enjoyed this trip so much. My view was awesome, the unit had everything I needed. I enjoyed the pool and visiting on the beach even with the crowds. Thank you for an amazing visit.

Great stay!

We loved this property! Great location to just about everything. Pineapple Willys is right next door and very convenient for drinks while on the beach! The condo was very nice and updated. My only suggestion would be a bigger bed, but my husband and I are used to a king size! Lol. Overall it was great and we didn’t want to leave!

Great Condo and awesome owner!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The owner was very quick to respond to all our needs and questions. Very peasant to deal with. There was some bumps in the road due to construction from damage the last Hurricane caused but that was upfront by the owners and at a discount price for the stay. This condo is very secure and the staff are friendly and helpful. The construction personnel were professional and was always giving the right of way to all the guest. Also the location leaving and entering back into the condo was surprisingly easy even during Pineapple Willy’s rush hours. Plus Pineapple Willy’s is right next door whenever you need a frosty adult beverage. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks Fay for a wonderful stay!

Beach Get-a-way

Perfect location for a little beach get away. Loved the location to Pineapple Willy’s to get routine refills of Miami Vice’s. Construction was underway in the West building and one elevator was down in our building. But it didn’t seem to affect anything. Workers were polite and working elevator was quick. Fay was right about beach chairs on site. $50/day or $160 for four days. If you’re not looking to spend that, bring your own. Also, the Dolphin cruise boats (yellow) stopped everyday in front of or near the condo three times a day. Every time it lets off a cannon sound. Startled me at first not knowing what it was. But after we realized, it was not an issue. Fay was very communicative. Enjoyed it very much. Thank you!

Great condo, great Host

I really enjoyed staying at this condo! Its in a great location and right on the beach! The Host is so nice and typically responds to messages quickly! There was construction going on on the east building, but it was not even noisy and its not congested like other parking lots and condos! I definitely recommend and i will stay here again.

Best beach trip

Words can’t explain how great this place is the condo and the property is kept cleaned and the view is absolutely amazing. The owner Fay is very nice and easy to get a hold off of if you need anything or suggestions for stuff to do in the area. I would highly recommend staying here and highly recommend eating at the restaurant next door called pineapple Willy’s they got great food and great alcohol drinks.
