The dehumidifier doesn’t run continuously, so every time you leave and come back the room smells like mold and musky. Reminded me of a sailboat’s cabin that hasn’t been opened in a while. We figured it was only a 3 day weekend and they were fully booked, so we didn’t bother to complain. But by day 2 I started getting headaches and congestion, it cleared up 2 days after I got home. Breakfast was a disappointment. Hallways really need to be shampooed, they are nasty.
My stay at this hotel was the worst experience I've ever had in Panama City Florida. We arrived at the hotel around 9:25 PM after a day of shopping and relaxing at the beach. When we entered the room (room 325) the floor was filthy and the bathroom including the shower was disgusting. We had to clean the shower ourselves before using and lay towels on the floor because it was so dirty. Only two of us was able to shower, then one of us got into bed and discovered the bed was wet. I immediately called the front desk and asked for clean sheets. When the reception came to the room, she discovered the mattress was soaked through. Both attendance from the front desk came up took photos and apologized but unfortunately, they had no other room available. There was no way the four of us could sleep in one unused bed. It was completely unacceptable. I asked for a full refund, but they said they had to contact the manager. When the receptionist called back to let me know what the manager said he was only willing to offer a 50% discount which was insulting considering the condition of the room. I decline and ask the manager to call me directly, but he never did. We ended up leaving the hotel around 11p.m. which was a four-hour drive. I immediately contact corporate and left a message for them to give me a call and they stated that the managers said he was only willing to give 50% off unacceptable. Now I'm taking this matter to the next step.
The water tank of the portable dehumidifier is full with mole growing in the water. Apparently it has not been cleaned for days. It is a health hazard for some people.
The hotel was good and the breakfast was delicious. The bedding was not up to par, sheets underneath the top layer sheets were stained, a layer of blood and dirty.
This was found on the last day of our stay and we quickly informed the front desk as we departed from our last stay at the hotel.
It was not a good experience to know that our two night stay bedding was not throughly cleaned.
