As a medical traveler, I have stayed many places. I can honestly say this place is by far the worst! The air unit in the room was garbage. The buttons to control it were missing. There were maybe 6 channels on the TV and none were decent. The fridge barely worked. The blackout curtains didnt completely close, I used a hanger to pull them close and hold them in place. There was no caffeine coffee for the rooms (only decaff) and I was informed they made coffee at 630am. The room smelled horrible. Thankfully, I travel with fabric freshener. The bed was the ONLY decent thing about the place. I placed a bag of trash and bagged empty food containers into the hall outside my door, hanged the "Do not disturb" and left for my appointments. When I got back that evening, the bag of trash was placed back in my room!! The front desk staff did the best they could with what they had but the management was rude during check-in. The main outter doors did not close and that should have been my first warning. This place is GARBAGE!

The lady(apperaed to be from the Caribbean) at check in was very friendly and nice. The room was pretty clean and a decent size room(I believe that not all rooms are the same). I liked that the room had laminate floors vs carpet; easier to clean and doesn't smell/keep critters. I was staying for a week work training, so I was looking for a place that had a fridge and microwave to keep eating out to a minimum. You are not going to mistake this for the Hilton. But for the price point, I was satisfied with what I got. Some of the complaints I read prior to booking, I can understand. For some reason, a garbage truck comes at 5-6a to empty the dumpster for an adjacent property. There are families living there due to FEMA hurricane displacement. I would not go for a family stroll through the adjacent area at night. I felt safe enough inside the building and I made sure to empty my vehicle at night not to tempt any break ins. But if you are looking for a cheap room that has a mini fridge, microwave, a hot shower and is centrally located to most places/things(20-30min drive to the beach due to poor traffic patterns/drivers); this is a decent choice.

The staff were great. I couldn't figure out how to work the shower. The hair dryer look like if you used it one more it was going to catch fire. Only one set of towels in a two person room.
