Dirty filthy disgusting. Grease all over stove. Nothing was wiped down hair all over in bathroom. Same EVERYWHERE.... there was toothpaste caked to the bathroom faucet... no toilet paper in the bathroom... we won't be staying here again.. and we list our stay in every travel forum i can find....

No working toilet in room

My 2 sisters and I arrived on Monday. The 3 of us are seniors. One is on O2. The toilet was clogged. Maintenance plunged toilet. Tuesday toilet was clogged and no water in toilet tank. Informed office twice. Maintenance repaired. Wednesday at 11:47pm I was trying to get someone to unclog toilet as we were going downstairs to bathroom at pool. No one ever came. I was back in office before 8:00 am on Thursday (we are still using bathroom downstairs at pool although we rented a room on 5th floor. Received no apologies just “we will send maintenance “.

The room was updated aesthetically but not functionally. The bath appeared clean but falling apart. Absolutely NO water pressure - can’t rinse think long hairThe sprinkler head was covered with plastic Sliding door handle loose on outside. Staff very friendly. Cleanliness was a plus

Room was nice but due to the wall being between the beds the front bed was HOT had no air. NO balcony chairs. Parking SUCKS!! NO WIFI and asked but was told it was working and 4 grandkids had nothing to do at night. A cartoon channel should be offered also. Enjoyed it being away from the main town but worried about my car across the street all night.

The best part about this property is the quiet location and access to the beach. The beach doesn’t feel crowded and can be enjoyed. Cleaning services is the worst, they don’t even try. Making the bed doesn’t account for clean sheets, they didn’t even do that. Take a broom and it will make things easier. You may have to buy a pan or two to cook, as these weren’t provided. Take your own dish washing sponge also. No hot water for showers and parking is terrible. Elevator broke so we had to go up and down the stairs at the time of checking out. Rooms are ok, beds are uncomfortable. Will not be returning to this property.

Great stay. The location on the beach was ideal. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff were hospitable. I wish we could have stayed for more than one night.

On the beach with awesome view of the beach. Pool also available. There was no hot water, stained ceiling tiles in bathroom and 1st sleeping area. Hair still in the shower when we arrived. AC outside unit dented with exposed metal ends.

Sugar sands

The beach location is incredible as you are at the end of the beach however, the rooms are horrible. My group stayed 4 nights and not a single night did we have hot water. We were told that it’s because the rooms share a hot water heater and if you take a shower at the same time, there will not be any hot water. This made sense so we attempted to take a shower around 12am, 3am, 4am, and 12pm when we figured not many would be talking a shower at the same time. Still no hot water. Our toilet leaked through the floorboards and the toilet ring had to be replaced, this took about 5 hours for the toilet to be fixed. The gentleman fixing the toilet made himself comfortable in the room by watching tv and lingering around in the room while we were not in there. Once he finished, there was sheetrock all over the floor and had to ask for a broom to clean it up. There was also a hole left in the wall facing the tub where he was fixing the toilet. The parking lot is incredibly small and very hard to navigate in. Someone managed to hit our parked car. (If this happens, please know a police report will not be done apparently.) There is only one elevator and it takes a ridiculous amount of time to get from floor to floor and there is no AC in the elevator. I do not think i would recommend this place to anyone nor would I book again. The hotel replied to my review on google and asked that I reach out to guest services, they have yet to reply to my emails.

Great stay

This was our first time to stay here. It was perfect, 8 min away from Pier Park. Far enough to not be part of the crowd, close enough to enjoy the shopping. The hotel was great. The beds were comfortable, the view was excellent, staff was helpful and friendly. The only downfall I'd say was not enough towels [3] or toilet paper[1]. We loved the fact that our room was ground level. Walk in front door and out the back door to the pool and ocean. The beach was very clean. Hotel was quiet at 11pm, when pool closed. We will definitely be back!

Our check in process was quick and easy. The lady that checked us in was very kind. However, the pool was wild and noisy until 11 PM. Our son couldn’t even get into the pool because there was no room. There was a puddle of water where you walks in from the beach that you had to step in or leap over. It was very gross looking. We had no warm water in our shower and barely a little stream of water pressure. The outdoor shower by the pool had more pressure than ours. The sliding door didn’t lock. The room was old and a little sketchy, but was good enough for a quick trip. I wouldn’t stay here again.
