I loved the peace that you can find in this place. I did not like that at 10:20pm the staff came to us and turn off the firepit becuase they turn it off at 10:20pm. If you want to enjoy the fire during the nigh, its not possible if you dont have a private one. I found that not polite.

Went to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Ended up bit of us being spoiled. Great facility, great services. Pool restaurant, 1886, was wonderfully. Cheeseburger was just what I needed. Milk House hit the spot.

The parking lot was too far away and dusty due to heavy equipment work. We stayed 3 weeks ago and encountered the same problem. We were told it would be done by the time we checked in this past visit. There was also construction right outside our front door that started at 8.

Renovations are nice - feels a bit restricted in that you can’t get a drink (alcohol)and take it outside the main building and walk around or sit by the fire or in the pool area. Food was not great Grounds are quiet and beautiful. New pools are very nice.

The homestead

The stay was really nice they are in the process of remodeling some of the buildings and the parking lot so it was inconvenient getting our bags from our cars to the rooms. The pools were perfect
