We were here to hike Havasupai, and the Hualapai Lodge was perfect! It was conveniently located near the Grand Canyon Caverns Inn (where check-in was), and was right across the street from a gas station. Parking was great. The facility itself was meticulously clean and comfortable, with a restaurant onsite. The food was hearty and filling. There is a train that runs by the Lodge, but the Lodge provides free earplugs, which work perfectly. Finally, the staff was perfect--very knowledgeable, kind, and patient with us tourists. The members of my party who plan to return to the area for more hiking will definitely be back to the Hualapai Lodge. Perfect experience--thank you to all the staff!

This is an amazing option if you are driving to the different viewpoints for the Grand Canyon. 1.5 hrs from the West Rim, 2 hrs from the south rim, a little under two hours from Las Vegas. It’s owned by the Hualapai tribe. Comfortable, clean, super convenient. Rooms are ample, comfortable, they come with a mini fridge, microwave and a one-cup at time coffee maker. Only things to take into consideration is the beds are really high so kids / older people may have a harder time getting on them. It has a small heated pool, jacuzzi and a small but well equipped gym. We had read a lot of reviews complaining about the train noise and it is perceptible on the outside but we didn’t hear it in the room. The restaurant hours are not reliable thou, they have little staff so wait can be longer than a city restaurant. Food is tasty and staff are really nice. Across the street you can find the Hualapai Supermarket, they have prepared food, frozen options, and beverages; it’s a great option if you want to bring some food into your room (especially with the fridge and microwave). Parking is open space in front of the hotel. Not a luxury option but super convenient, and the location is great.

Loved this hotel after 3 nights camping. Warm, great food and very friendly check-in and restaurant staff. The housekeeping staff was extremely rude tho, told me I couldn’t ride the elevator with her even tho I’m a very small person and 3 more people could have fit. When I laughed and got on the elevator anyway she was extremely displeased. I hope they’ll ask staff to share the elevator with guests happily in the future.

Good stay, train seems to run non stop on the south side of the property, so make sure you have a north facing room, from the hot tub on the south end many trains interrupted conversation it was so loud and frequent. The front desk staff was shy, the restaurant staff was very attentive and accommodating. The rooms are clean and nice for a best western kind of stay. Considering we booked it before a Havasu Falls trip, we felt like we were lucky to relax and eat before the 10 mile hike in.

There is a market across the street and a small gift shop/restaurant in hotel. Trains passing through with horns are loud. Lodge gives you free ear plugs. But overall its fine- hiking Havasupai Falls in the am! Its about 15 minutes from the Cavern Check in.

Reservations staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant evening staff was friendly and helpful. The wait staff (morning staff) not very friendly or helpful. Where to get water or coffee, silverware, etc. was very confusing to the whole party. Other than that our visit was good. The Indian Tribes should be a little more outgoing to their customers not just at the lodges but in other aspects of their lives. I think your people are fantastic and own some of the most beautiful land in the world.
